Description:

NxLeveL for Entrepreneurs (also known as the “Existing Business Course”) is a 13-week, 40-hour course that gives entrepreneurs the professional knowledge and management skills they need to grow an existing business. Participants will learn to identify feasible opportunities for profitable and sustainable growth, and bring them to fruition by preparing a comprehensive business plan based on proven market research, financial management and project management.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

A 90% refund of the total amount paid will be provided only when a written request to: kcarrico@unr.edu is submitted 7 days prior to the first class session. After this timeframe, no refunds will be provided.

About the Presenter:

Rod Jorgensen is the Director of Counseling for the Nevada Small Business Development Center (NSBDC), an outreach department for the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno. With well over 9,000 clients from Washoe County during the past 20 years, Rod has individually become one of the most valued resources for small business start-ups and expansions in our State. Rod provides one-on-one counseling to NSBDC clients which is the necessary assistance they need in operating their new or existing business in the most profitable manner possible. Rod assists clients in the areas of business planning, locating financing, dynamics of growth, market research, marketing and many other facets. The NSBDC counseling services are free to those that cannot afford to hire professional counsel for these specific aspects of their business endeavor.

Rod is a certified NxLeveL for Entrepreneurs instructor and has taught this and other entrepreneurship courses for more than a decade in Nevada and California. He has provided endless presentations captivating audiences with his knowledge and expertise in small business development. He sits on multiple boards, including several business plan review boards.

Please note that classes will be held on 13 consecutive Thursday evenings, excluding Thursday, November 22nd, from 5:45 pm – 9:00 pm starting September 6 and ending on December 6, 2012.
