Description:

Simple Steps for Starting Your Business is a multi-session training program developed and offered exclusively through SCORE, Counselors to America’s Small Businesses. This program was designed at a national level for people who are considering a small business, but need to do a little leg work, paperwork and feasibility research. This course will position each attendee to do one of two things:

  • 1. Determine their idea is not worth pursuing, back to the drawing board
  • 2. Determine their idea is solid enough to warrant the efforts in building a solid business plan.

Homework and counseling are part of the workshop process, so be sure to manage your time well and plan to invest your time both inside AND outside the classroom.

About the Presenter:

SCORE instructors for the sessions are Steve Raas for Business Concept, Gary Smith for Marketing, Frank Wesh for Financial Projections, and Steve Weich and Judy Haar for Sources of Funding and Next Steps. In addition, the class will have 4-6 SCORE counselors to help you along the way both in class and one on one during the week as you further investigate your small business pursuits.
